Why test the board?
Risk management is a key consideration for any board. In recent times the
capabilities of the board members themselves have been identified as a n area
of potential risk for Australian companies. Board members that don't understand
financial information presented in board papers or don't have a good
understanding of legal, taxation or corporate governance issues put their
companies and fellow directors at risk.
The assessment products are conducted in an online environment and take up to
two and a half hours to complete. All tests are multiple choice and cover three
main sections:

Numerical ability: 60 minutes – 7 sub-sections

Written communication and spelling: 15 minutes – 3 sub-sections

Core competencies: 60 minutes – 15 sub-sections
