Con Livissianis BComm CPA FAICD - Managing Director

The founder of Exemplar Performance Advantage, Con Livissianis, is a firm believer that prevention is better than cure. During his thirty year career in management and corporate development he has become well-known as a corporate wellness expert. During the eighties Con was employed as CEO of Australian Metal Holdings Group with responsibilities for development and implementation of strategic and operational plans of the group which included Anderson Meats Limited, Twynam Pastoral Group, and Australian Metals Pty Limited. His qualifications and background in commerce, accounting and financial management enabled him to work across all areas of a company. Major achievements during this period were the sale of an “unsaleable” abattoir on the border of New South Wales and Queensland and the restructure of the pastoral group to eliminate losses and achieve meaningful, maintainable operating profits. He formed Livcon Holdings Pty Ltd in 1981 and focused his corporate doctoring skills on identifying the causes and risks of poor performance in major companies. He specialised in financial management appraisal and soon earned a reputation as a practical consultant who’s no-nonsense approach achieved positive bottom line results for his clients. Consultancy projects included corporate recovery and restructuring, due diligence on new acquisitions, systems and procedures and audits of internal controls, cash flow management and development of KPIs for the board of directors. A popular area of his consultancy work was training executive teams and boards of directors in accounting and financial management For non-financial people. These intensive workshops have been further developed for the Directors' Performance Advantage Program.
